Wretton is located about 5 miles from Downham Market and 2 miles from Crimplesham on the A134. Take the first turning on the right coming out of Wereham to the Village Green. It is a small rural village which is holding an "All Eras History Fair" on the village green & church on Sunday 18 May 2008. The event is free and is open from 10:00 - 5:00 pm.
This Free event will include:
Flintknapping Demonstrations
Saxon/Norman re-enactors
Costumed Stallholders/Demonstrators representing periods such as:
Medieval
Tudor
English Civil War
Victorian
and the 2 World Wars
1940's musical entertainment from 'Timescape'
Guided history touyrs of the church and photo displays off Wretton's past
and it's people
Feel Free to dress historically!
Commemorative Ale and Refreshments available from Wissey Valley Brewery
& Wissey Valley Foods

for the poor quality of the photos on this page - my digital cameras and
lenses where all stolen on a recent trip to Venice - so I am having to
go backwards and use old fashioned 35mm instamatic without a zoom or any
form of manual control, and wait several weeks for them to be processed
at Boots as well, hopefully the insurance man will pay up soon....
