Wells-Next-The-Sea is located on the coast on the A148. The main attractions of the village are the harbour with its fishing boats, crab catching and extensive sandy beaches further up the coast - a 1 mile walk or paid car parking. There is also Britains longest 10.25 narrow gauge railway line, which extends from Wells to Walsingham - open Good Friday to end of September. The town is compact with narrow streets and quaint shops - well worth a visit in Summer or Winter, and a paradise for nature and wildlife lovers. The Wells Annual Harbour Day and Wells Carnival are both held in late August.
