Swaffham is located on the A47, 12 miles from King's Lynn. It is a small market town which is very busy on market days (Saturday), established since 1783, with local shopping, 2 supermakets and free parking. The Eco Tech centre has a large wind turbine, twice the size of Nelsons column, visible from Marham, which powers half the towns electricty, it also has tours and an information centre.
