Fakenham is located 15 miles from Swaffham on the A1065. It is quite a large town only 10 miles from the coast with several markets (Thursdays). It is an old style town with narrow back streets, however it has been re-vamped and its town centre roads are pedestrianised after 10am, parking is not free. There is a ten-pin bowling alley, as well as a Megafun centre for kids.
