My work is a collection of images taken in the homes and surroundings
of people close to me. I like to think of it as captured seconds of
existence, which are not often focus on. To me photography is a medium
which pauses time and allows us to take a closer look at the small things
that we do every day that are not always consciously processed. It freezes
the bond between our emotions and our physical presence. I feel that
the menial things we do is what provides the basis for constructing
our memories. I try to record the routine practices that mindlessly
occur but have no reason to be purposely remembered.

Hilgay Silver Band was founded in 1896. Originally formed by farmers
and land workers from the village and surrounding areas. The Band has
improved over the years and is now one of Norfolk's premier bands.The
Band performs concerts and engagements at many locations throughout
East Anglia. Hilgay Silver Band competes each year at the East Anglian
Spring Festival, currently Championship section, and at the National
Brass Band Championships of Great Britain, reaching the National Finals
